Humminbird PC connection Kit (AS PC2) cable wiring diagram.

This information is provided for those who need to connect your Humminbird Fishfinder to PC to perform software updates etc... but dont have original cable handy or it's damaged or are in real hurry. Normaly you would buy an original cable kit, but you can do the same job thing using this info, few wires and some safety matches to fix wires in main unit connector holes. Be very carefull not to mix or short-connect wires because you can easily damage main unit. Original cable kit consists of 2 separate cables. Power cable and data cable.

Wiring diagram for data cable:

Power cable in original is wired to provide DC 18V using two 9V batteries. One good 12V batterie should do the job too. Original cable you can see on first picture. On picture below you can see connector that goes to main unit.
